Geography

Our Geography curriculum is designed to develop students’ understanding of the world around them—its people, places, environments, and the processes that shape them. We aim to foster curiosity, global awareness, and a sense of responsibility for the planet.

We offer an inclusive and dynamic curriculum that encourages all students to explore both physical and human geography through enquiry, investigation, and critical thinking. Geography helps students make sense of the world, understand global challenges, and consider their role as informed global citizens.

By the end of Key Stage 4, students will be able to:

  • Understand key physical and human geographical processes and how they interact
  • Interpret and analyse a range of geographical data, maps, and sources
  • Communicate geographical ideas clearly using appropriate terminology and techniques
  • Evaluate environmental and social issues from multiple perspectives
  • Apply fieldwork skills to investigate real-world questions

Our intent is to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and values to engage with the world confidently and responsibly.
